Google Forum will now have 20 Levels

Wow, isn’t this a surprising and a great news?

I love to participate in Google forums. Actually to be honest with you: I am addictive to Google Webmaster Central Help Forum.

I participate in this forum on daily bases and I was quite happy when I reached level 4 in this forum. At this level, you see a message which says something like this: you have reached the highest level in the forum. This is quite an achievement for anyone like me who knows very little about SEO : )

Anyway, things are about to change. Soon, the maximum level to reach will be 20.

I am actually quite excited about this news. I am already addictive to this forum, I guess now, my addiction will increase further : )

No user will see any deduction in their level. However, it is quite possible that some users will see an increase in their level.

I am thinking about the users who are “Top Contributors”. What will happen to them? Will they be still called as Top Contributors or will they now have some level again?

To know the answers, I guess we will have to wait : )

   Interesting stuff, I might have to join Google’s forum.

   Do you get rewarded anything else when you reach a new level, or is it just for the purpose of showing you are a very active member?

   I will definitely check it out.
