How much choice do you have in choosing the topic of the article that you will need to write?

Buyers have the authority of choosing topics. Buyers simply write their requirements and complete job description in their project details. And you can go to different freelance sites to check all the newly posted projects.

You can read the description and in case you find a topic interesting to write then you can contact the buyer to find more information about the job. After communicating with the buyer you will find all the information that you wish to know about the work.

Are you bound to apply for limited number of copywriting jobs?

Off course not: the work you can get will depend on how much work you can do. You are free to apply for multiple projects.

If you only want to earn in your spare time then you can apply for fewer projects and if you want to make a living online doing this work then you will have to spend 8 or so hours at freelance sites and will have to apply for multiple projects each day.

You may have noticed that my English writing skills are not very good but I am still able to earn at freelance sites via doing simple writing jobs for different buyers. I have also written content for websites.

Or a site can provides some useful information about a product or service: for example: if I am a newbie and am wondering how a person can earn online: then for me, a site will help if it contains content about all legit ways to earn money on the internet.

You should only make a site on a Topic in which you have interest. A topic on which you can write lot of Useful Content. The main purpose of a website is to provide the promised service or content to its users and that is only possible when the owner of the website have good knowledge about the topic.

You should never build a site on an unknown topic. One possibility is to first learn everything about that unknown topic and once you know everything about it you can then start to deliver your knowledge to other people via building a site.

Think about your interests. Like if you love to watch movies then build a site related to movie reviews. This way you will be writing about something that you love to do.

Opportunity Number Three:

Write or submit articles to sites where you will earn money from revenue sharing:

I have mentioned different ways to earn from writing articles. In opportunity #1, you will be selling your articles to different buyers. If the buyer does not pays copyright for the article from you, you can then use such articles in opportunity #2: that is, add those articles in your own website. There are buyers who need articles which they will use offline. So when you will post them to your own website the content will be unique as no one had previously added the content online and that you hold the copyrights.

But remember that you should only add content in your site which is useful.

Opportunity #3 is about revenue sharing sites. After you submit your articles in your own site, wait for few weeks and then you can add these articles to revenue sharing sites too.

Please Note: Do not submit all content of your website to other places.  This will create duplicate content issues. Also, do not submit the your content to lot of sites.
